WESTconsin to Launch New Fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

WESTERN, WI—WESTconsin Credit Union is set to launch its newest campaign to fundraise for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. WESTconsin’s SWEETheart Campaign will run February 1-29. Credit union members and members of the community are invited to show their support by purchasing a paper heart icon for $1, a candy bar for $2 or a milk chocolate butter heart for $5 at their local WESTconsin office. Online donations will also be accepted at westconsincu.org. The credit union’s goal is to raise $7,500 through this campaign.

WESTconsin partners with two Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals: Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, MN, and Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. Funds raised at WESTconsin’s Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls offices will be distributed locally to families and children in need with the help of Gundersen Health System. The remaining funds raised are used for research, expansions projects and providing assistance to families who may be struggling while their child is being treated at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. In 2014, nearly 1,000 children from western Wisconsin received treatment from Gillette.

Miracle Jeans Day Campaign Update

We are about half way through our Miracle Jeans Day Campaign to benefit Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, a Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. So far, we have reached 30% of our goal. Flurry of Snowflakes for Kids Fundraiser to benefit Children’s Miracle Network

WESTERN, WI— WESTconsin Credit Union will again be raising funds in support of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) in February. The annual fundraiser is organized by the credit union with this year’s campaign theme being Flurry of Snowflakes for Kids. Businesses and individuals are invited to show their support of CMN by purchasing varying sizes of snowflakes for $1, $3 or $25 from their local WESTconsin office, where the snowflakes will be proudly displayed. This particular campaign typically generates approximately $10,000 and all money raised is donated to CMN.

Funds are used for research, expansions projects and providing assistance to families who may be struggling while their child is being treated at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, MN, the region’s CMN hospital. In 2014, nearly 1,000 children from western Wisconsin received treatment from Gillette.
