MENOMONIE, WI—Two WESTconsin Credit Union employees have partnered with the Mandela Washington Fellowship (MWF) through University of Wisconsin-Stout. Jody Hagman and Latacia Greeley of WESTconsin Credit Union, pictured left, are 2015 Peer Collaborators through this fellowship.

MWF is the flagship program of President Obama's Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). From June 22, to July 31, fellows will participate in a Business & Entrepreneurship Institute at UW-Stout that combines intensive academic and leadership training with experiential learning activities. President Obama launched YALI in 2010 to support young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across Africa.

Peer Collaborators meet regularly with the Fellows during their six-week stay. During these meetings, they share ideas and further mutual understanding between U.S. and African citizens.
